PLOS has a great piece on making better technical figures..
By and large, I agree with them. Of particular interest to me is the “Tools” section, as I’m looking to polish up my toolbox of algorithmic data-drawing tools. I currently use matplolib to plot data, and TikZ to pro grammatically draw diagrams, but welcome any suggestions on how to improve this workflow!
